Asthma and Lung UK evaluates its Innovation Accelerator programme

Asthma and Lung UK piloted a year long programme to support the innovation of digital self-help products. The programme was managed in partnership with Asthma and Lung UK by human-centred design organisation, Humanly. The support provided through the programme helped to user-design and user-test products, refining their offering and then providing further support to help them access markets, scale and grow. Public Perspectives, working with Humanly, was asked to evaluate the Innovation Accelerator, to assess progress, draw out lessons learnt and capture the emerging impact of the programme. This involved co-developing a theory of change evaluation framework and data capture with user-testers, product owners and key stakeholders involved in the programme. The evaluation is helping Asthma and Lung UK decide on their next steps with the Innovation Accelerator.
