Understanding travel experience and attitudes in South Yorkshire

South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA) has responsibility for travel and transport in an area covering 1,345 square miles and a population of some 1.8 million. It includes the four metropolitan boroughs of South Yorkshire – Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley. SYMCA conducts an annual travel and transport representative survey of over 1,200 residents to measure, monitor and inform travel and transport plans. Public Perspectives is currently conducting the latest version of the survey (having previously conducted the survey last year), which will compare trend data over time and national data from the National Travel Survey.
